Thanks, Jaspenelle. I love them, too! I've put into a pot all these sayings, and in the morning I pull one out, as a kind of meditation/divination tool. Joanna Powell Colbert gave me the idea—she started doing it with the Old Mermaid suggestions first.

I know your post about the 13 suggestion is from 2006, but the idea inspired me so that I've created a little project featuring the suggestions while taking liberties and adding one of my own. I blogged about it today (Sept. 16, 2006) and provided links to your book, blog, and the original 13 suggestions. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
